Where to find a Utah Elopement
Couples looking to take advantage of the unspoiled natural beauty of Utah will love Park City. The venue is an approved Green Weddings provider making it a big hit with Eco-friendly couples. The preserve has 1200 acres of breathtaking wetlands offering stunning views year round. So, whether you are hoping for a sea of wild flowers in summer or a glistening carpet of snow in the winter months this is one elopement venue which will not disappoint. There is a choice of locations with the center that are ideal for a Utah elopement ceremony including the observation tower and the outdoor deck and pier among others. Plus there is always the option to rent a houseboat for an elopacation on Lake Powell but you may have to meet your Officiant in Page, AZ or bring your own. Or you could chose a camping trip to Arches National Park in Moab for the more adventurous.
If you are looking for a truly timeless venue for your Utah elopement wedding, then you will find that Wadley Historic Farm in Lindon is perfect! The venue offers a choice of locations for your ceremony both indoors and outdoors including the stunning iron gazebo and a choice of either the Railroad Building or the barn which both offer stunning views of Mount Timpanogos. In terms of elopements, the Railroad Building is the more intimate of the two and is complete with chandeliers and French doors offering a dramatic backdrop to your ceremony. The farm dates back to 1869 and is situated within 18 acres of gardens and orchards.
For an outdoor Utah elopement ceremony, we can highly recommend Alta Lodge in the Alta ski area. The venue has a stunning view of the Wasatch Mountains which in the summer months are awash with color thanks to the rainbow of wild flower on the slopes. All are offered the chance of working with the resident wedding coordinator to take all of the stress out of your wedding plans and every package includes fresh flowers, a complimentary night in a corner room for the happy couple and reduced rates for wedding guests. Other services can be added depending on the package you select. Although the ceremonies are outdoors, in the event of poor weather a back up plan for an indoor ceremony is in place – just one more thing you don’t need to worry about. Access to Alta Lodge is easy as it is jut 30 miles form Salt Lake International Airport.
